Welcome to Prospective Tutors:
You do not have to be a teacher or be able to speak another language to be a tutor. We provide all the necessary materials that will assist you in serving your learner.

The rewards you receive from tutoring include the joy a learner gets when s/he tells you that they can now read to their children or have passed the citizenship exam because of improved reading/English skills. Many tutors and learners become close friends.

We serve two types of students:
1) Literacy Students who were born in the US but have difficulty reading.
2) ESOL Students who are foreign born and want to learn to read, write, and speak English or improve their English skills.

Tutortraining workshops will be held in our office and there is no charge to attend.
